Thank you for visting your page. I am the host Dj City.  How did i get into loving Japan? well I used to be an anime fan, then I meet other people that have be to japan or  where from Japan. I started to learn some japanese and it grew form there.

My interests in Japan started when I was in choosing a university. I thought it would be really cool to take a year abroad and figured Japan was not a very common choice, therefore increasing my chances of being chosen to go. I spent my 3^rd year at Nagoya Gakuin University in Seto, Aichi-ken in ‘97-’98, a total of 10 months. While I was there I studied a lot, did all kinds of travelling, got to go to the Olympics and fell in love with the music and the game shows. Some of those shows (think Takeshi’s Castle, or MXC as it was known in the US) were downright nasty, but really funny to watch so they were always entertaining. I have since been back 3 times, including the well known trip with DJ City and Kuma in 2005. What I love about Japan is that history is very much living right beside modern life in much of Japan. I am also a castle fan, having been to about 11 of the 41 castle sites across the country, so I definitely recommend checking them out whenever you go. The reason I love Japan so much still is that there is always something new to see or do.
