This is my podcast system this is all the stuff I need to make a podcast work including Wires, mics and anything else needed. So I will be getting rid of the XLR to 2.5 for XLR to XLR and adding another Benringer XM 8500 and another apex mic stand. I used to have 3 Shure SM58 knock off but now I am down to 2, there still good mics great for outdoor recording. I have givin them a good beating and they where only $20 each. Another nice thing was cables where included. Soon I will be handing off these great mics to others, I know that will use them well. We use the ALESIS multimix 8 USB. This is a great little mixer it is light weight and usb (great sound and no energy hum) also has program feature with different sound effects (revere, pitch, delay, and may more) also had a meter so you don’t clip your audio. The software we use is Cool Edit Pro 2.0 (now known as abode Audition) one of the pro tools out there for podcasters. The reason I still use this is there filters, they are top notch. From floor kill and low to high hiss reduction the filters are top of there games.
